Final Project XC: Native Mobile App

Meteor supports the development of native mobile applications for iOS and Android using Cordova. For details, see the Meteor Guide chapter on Mobile.

For extra credit, you can build a native mobile application for your project. You can build just for iOS, just for Android, or for both platforms. Your application can run only in an emulator, or you can deploy it to the App Store for the associated platform.

Submission instructions

On the date associated with this experience on the Schedule page, you must have your native mobile app ready for review. The number of extra credit points to be awarded to each member of the team depends upon what was accomplished:

• If you successfully get your code base to run in one emulator, each team member gets at least 50 XC points.
• If you successfully get your code base running in a second emulator, each team member gets an additional 50 XC points.
• If you create a custom Meteor application just for native mobile applications which contains all the functionality of your regular project but with a significantly different UI, each team member gets an additional 50 XC points.
• If your app is deployed to one or both App Stores, each team member gets an additional 50 XC points.
