Final Project: Milestone 3

For this milestone, you must:

• Significantly improve the functionality of your system from Milestone M2.
• Find at least five UH community members (not from ICS 314) to try out your system and provide feedback. (You will need to give me their UH accounts so I can request that they be added to the UH test server).

Functional requirements

The system should provide all functionality required for Milestone M2, plus significant additional functionality.

Software engineering requirements

For this milestone, you must:

• Use GitHub issues and a GitHub project called “M3” to manage the development of this release of the system.
• Use Issue Driven Project Management practices.
• Update your organization’s GitHub Page to document the current version of your system following GitHub hosting guidelines.

Submission instructions

By the date and time associated with this experience on the Schedule page, you must post a link to your project home page to the #final-project channel, indicating that it is ready for review.

The project home page should:

• Use a theme that provides a link to the GitHub organization associated with this project and all of its repositories.

• Include a “Guided Tour” section. This section should guide the user through all of the currently implemented functionality of the system. It should include up-to-date screen shots.

• Include a “Developer Guide” section. The developer guide should guide a developer through the process of downloading, installing, running, and modifying the system.

• Include a link to the running deployment of your system on Galaxy. Please make sure that the UH account ‘johnson’ is authorized to login. If different credentials are needed to illustrate certain functionality, you can provide those in class.

• Provide a section called “Initial User Study”. This section should describe who you recruited to look at your site, how you conducted the study, and a summary of the feedback you obtained from them.

• A link to the M3 Project page, showing what issues were completed for this milestone. It is appropriate that by the time of the presentation, there are no issues in the BackLog or In Progress for this milestone.
