This semester, you will be using VSCode as your interactive development environment.
I’ve used many IDEs over the years, and I think VSCode is the best one out there at the moment for C, C++, Java, and Javascript.
You can use VSCode for free as a student. Go to https://code.visualstudio.com/ to download and install VSCode.
Once you’ve installed it, go through some of the tutorials at https://code.visualstudio.com/docs. I will provide specific learning experiences during the semester. For now, just play around.
