E38: React Quick Start Tutorial

To start your journey with React, please go through the React Quick Start Tutorial, including all of its sections:

• Creating and nesting components
• Writing markup with JSX
• Adding styles
• Displaying data
• Conditional rendering
• Rendering lists
• Responding to events
• Updating the screen
• Using Hooks
• Sharing data between components

At various points, the tutorial provides links to CodePen snippets showing how the code executes. When you don’t feel comfortable just reading the code, be sure to try to the CodePen to see if that helps you better understand things.

If you still don’t understand things, then post your questions to the class Discord server in the #smart-questions channel.
